If you're in some hoity-toity restaurant, there might be some caramel drizzled across it. That's nice but not required.

Although, I would add that apple pie should only be hot when just baked. Leftovers (if they exist) must be cold, and for breakfast or a snack. And the ice cream isn't really necessary, but nice.
