I geuss you just have to put the whole thing in perspective. I used to be really pissed with my injuries and the "why me" thing. Then I met a young guy with terminal cancer. He lives pain on a daily basis and has had numerous painful procedures, yet he's just the most optimistic person I know, and he's suffered ten times what we have been through. After that, I never cursed my bad luck again
I know it must have been tough to miss that once in a lifetime opportunity you had, but you will get better, and you have your whole life in front of you.
I just thank God I can get up every day and not have to worry if I'll be around next year or not.
