goosebumps

ok, so you normally get goosebumps when you're cold, because they help your body retain heat. However, i aslo experiences them, sometimes, whilst listening to some of my favourite music. It can be the hottest day ever, and sometimes i still get chills down my spine and goosebumps. Also, i somtimes get them if i am really, really happy about something or something touches me in a special way (not always physically tho), normally involving girls

Anyways, i was just wondering if there is any reason for this to be happening, or what goosebumps are really for.
Also if you ever get goosebumps in somewhat, unusual circumstances.
