In my Criminology class, I learned there are four categories of rapists. The three mentioned above are anger, power, sadist, but there is a new kind out there, the coward rapist (i.e. date rapist). Of the four different types of rapists, sadistic rapist is the least common and cowardly rapist is becoming more common, or at least more widely acknowledged these days.
The coward rapist is a guy who wants a girl and for whatever reasons (fear of rejection, lack of social skills..) drugs the girl and takes advantage/rapes her to get what he wants. The title is kind of misleading because any rapist could be dangerous or carry a weapon, even a coward rapist.
