Broken Clavicle
A little while ago I broke my collarbone playing Lacrosse. Now I've had a nail go through the fleshy part of my arm, I've had a cactus thorne stuck in my finger for the better part of a year, I've had surgery and I've been shot in the nuts with a paintball gun from close range, and nothing has hurt more than this. Nothing. I was rushed to the ER and was given Vicodine. Now Vicodine has Codine in it (viCODINE, vicodine....geddit?) and Codine is from Opium, which is really strong. After taking two Vicodine, the pain was still too intence for me to bear, thats how bad it was. Before the injury, I was asked to represent California on an All Star team. This was a great honor, and I was so happy to get on a plane with a bunch of lacrosse heros and experts and players to NYC for a tourniment, and you could imagine what a let down it would be to break your collarbone a week before you leave. Does anyone have any similar mishaps or injurys? Nobody I know knows what its like.
