LUCKY!...the way it works in vancouver is...you take a written test for a learners license...wait half a year to take a road test to get a 'new driver's license' then wait a year and a half to take another road test to get a regular license. Also, from what i heard in edmonton you can also start driving at 14...here in vancouver...it's 16 and they're talking about RAISING the age...lemme tell you, there are some stupid reckless teenage drivers but come ON! The reason they drive insanely is cuz everytime some teenager decides to be ratarded all tehy get is a slap on the wrist...meanwhile responsible teenage drivers who actually need to drive is suffering the consequences...
to answer your question, no there's no way...i heard that if you had an international license you can apply to be able to drive here with a temp license but no clue on the details...and also...from a driver who started day 1 obeying the rules and getting frustrated by the rules, suck it up at least you're not in vancouver.
