Don't try to force anything.
I can absolutely positively guarantee that you will change immensely when you leave for college. It may or may not change in a way that negatively affects your relationship.
They say that on average, relationships that started in high school have ended by the time people are three months into college.
I say try to make it work...no need to jump the gun, but if you guys grow apart, then break it off cleanly.
