My deepest sympathies lurkette

I lost my best friend, my sister 7 years ago. She was 38.

You never get over it, you just go on with life. Slowly, very slowly, the ragged edges of the wound heals, but it always hurts.

My heart goes out to others who have experienced similiar losses. Even at this point, I think its a rare day that I don't think of her, but the memories now tend to bring more smiles than tears

Hang in there. Life can be so harsh at times, but then again it can be so beautiful. You were blessed to have known and loved such a wonderful person
