UPDATE:
Well, I spoke to my neighbours last week and all is well.
They were ok with the noise except for the Bass and the choice of music (2 Live Crew). MacGnG n Duval were right. So all's well that ends well.
I don't have these parties every weekend and next time I will check the Bass levels.
It was good to see people's different tolerance levels and the experiences they had, thank you. Although to the intolerant I have a particular dislike and would probably increase my noise levels and general annoyance factor just to see you lose your rag.
I generally want to get along with everyone but asshats.
