I believe the russian case design is more tapered, such that the rear is bigger than the front. Supposedly, this aids extraction. In contrast, the 5.56 rds are straighter walled, resulting in more failures to extract....
I try to avoid Wolf, although it's nearly half the price of decent cheap brass 5.56 (PMC and Centurion).
