I enjoy experiences more than things. I'd rather pay for experiences.

Common sense but I'll drop this little tirade here anyway since it's my favorite:

Sure, things are a means to an end but they're a wholly necessary means.

Hard to separate the two in practice. Can't do much without material goods.

I mean, order to have many experiences, you have to have certain things.

Any worthwhile hobby involves the acquisition of various paraphernalia.

You can't have possessions without an experience or an experience without possessions.
