i would tell my supervisor, or whoever makes the decision to transfer you, that you would rather not work for the person for personal reasons and would be far more productive and a better asset to the company if you didn't get transferred to that guy. you could always caveat that by adding *if* you *HAD* to be transferred, you would do the best job possible and you would make it work no matter what.
that is what *I* would do. i also have the uncanny ability to make the exact wrong decision or say the exact wrong thing at the wrong time, close to 100% of the time.
