I know this thread was necro'd, but it's a good topic.
Soy is a quality protein. So is hemp protein, especially considering the fibre and omega-3s you get with it (though it can taste like ass).
For non-dairy, I think your best option is a blend, of which there are several on the market. They tend to mix soy protein with rice and pea protein. You can't really go wrong with that.
The problem with egg protein powder is the cost. And eating all those egg whites can get pretty gross after a while.
