I find myself agreeing with most of them here. It looks like many franchises just outlive their use.
If I had to pick a top 3 it would be:
Star Wars: I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the prequels and any of the cartoons on TV that came afterwards.
Spiderman: 1st movie was awesome, after that were just meh. I didn't even see the 3rd one and I think I watched the 2nd movie once.
Matrix: I almost can't even watch the original movie because of how craptastic I know the sequels are. What a unique movie completely ruined by later crap.
I was ready to write off James Bond after Die Another Day but I really enjoyed the reboot movies with Daniel Craig. I'm really glad they saved that franchise and I can't wait for the next one.
