We showered together more in the past but now, there isn't really all that much room in our shower. We actually took more baths together in that past because it was another way to get warm.
All of that said, shower or bath, it wasn't about "sex" time. It was just about intimacy.
We stayed in a hotel recently that had a massive soaker tub. It was great to bathe together again and in such comfort.
