I've read loads on squirting and this post is probably the best I've read in regards to how to do it and what to expect. I couldn't have worded it any better myself I don't think!

I was with one boyfriend who taught me exactly how to squirt and such. I haven't done it with anyone since. We're currently best friends to this day (broke up in 2001,) so I guess it's kind of like our little secret or something lol. Nah, I'm sure I could talk with my current bf and we could experiment with that sort of thing again, but as I've mentioned in another thread, I have some other problems with sex that need to be tackled before we start something like this.

As far as good lubes are concerned, Astroglide is good. The traditional KY gets too tacky imo. But recently, we've delved into the world of silicone based lubes. I LOVE them. Very slick, soft and slippery. Zero tackiness. They just feel so good on your fingers alone. And there are so many kinds to try. One we're happy with is Wet Platinum. I highly recommend trying these out.

And regarding the messiness of it all, the ex and I had a sort of habit much like brushing teeth before you go to bed lol. Before going to dinner, we'd lay out one of those inexpensive shower liners on the bed and cover it with a soft bed sheet or blanket. Then we'd go on our 'date.' When the time came to hit the bedroom, all was ready for our romp. Those puppy pad-type thingys mentioned earlier just wouldn't be big enough for the positions we got into. Aaaaand weellll... he kind of enjoyed watersports. So we needed a lot of room. Once we finished, we'd just fold up the sheet / blanket and shower curtain and leave it on the floor for the wash machine the next day. And all bed linens remained clean and dry for bedtime.
