Oops, I had totally forgotten about Jude Law - can't say much about his acting because I don't think I've seen much of his work. Like you, I don't care for naming after celebrities or related characters, but other than Jude Law I don't know of anyone else with that name.
I liked the name for two reasons. The first is because of a Thomas Hardy novel,
Jude the Obscure, and the second because of the Beatles song "Hey Jude." And yes, Chuck Norris is a legend.
