Look at KKK, when they met some resistance. They ran. THEY DID NOT KNOW WHY THEY WERE DOING WHAT THEY WERE DOING. They had no personal reasons (each - his own reason). They - had the feeling something was wrong (and it was), formed a mob, and started killing blacks. Mindless civilized zombies.
