I've sent photos to men that I was romantically involved with. Not to male friends.
Basically, once you've had sex with someone, even casually, you've moved past simple friendship and on to something more intimate. It's not as if seeing her naked is a novelty.
I've been sent photos by a boyfriend, too, and I like it very much. If they were unsolicited from someone who is just a friend, that would be weird.
