I mainly want to have tethering on an unlimited plan. I've even kicked around the idea of getting a second line and having the phone dedicated for tethering. I'm on a family talk plan, so for the 25 dollar a month charge it would cost for the tethering alone, I could just add a line.
With my situation, I use 90% of my monthly bandwidth on the 7 night shifts I work a month. Carrying a second phone to work on night shift is no effort at all.
