First off, I use lots and lots of tabs.
Here's the workaround. First thing I do is open
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/online....e&pp=40&page=1 , to ensure that I don't get timed out.
Second, I search for any thread with postings that I have posted to myself, to see what else has happened in them and respond again if that would be useful. In each forum, I do a middle-click on the thread in order to open the thread in a new, background tab. I'll open 20 or 30 threads at a time this way, so by the time I get to the first tab, it is completely loaded.
Third, I hit Fun Zone to take care of the silliness in one swipe.
Fourth, I hit New Posts and look through those.
Fifth, I check the Blogs.
Sixth, I return to New Posts to see if anything new has happened while I was browsing Blogs.
