Quirky movies

As I sit here watching The Rocky Horror Picture show, I wonder what quircky and/or cult classic movies TFP loves.

So, what movies have you always loved that perhaps others look at your strangely for loving? What is it about these movies that you find so enticing? How often do you watch them?

Growing up very close to my gay uncle, I was introduced to many fun movies.

Cabaret was definitely a favorite growing up. How could you not love this movie? It had Liza Minnelli at her prime, Joel Grey and Micheal York. It touched on subjects, that are even now risque, like bisexuality, cross dressing, transsexuals and abortions. I think I watch this one about once a year, maybe more if I find myself humming the music. *Money makes the world go around*

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is another one I loved from the first time I watched it, I want to say I was 10? To see Hugo Weaving (think Agent Smith from Matrix) as a gay cross dresser who drives across the great outback in a giant bus is just hilarious. Top this all off with the awesome costumes and stage props. I also watch this one a few times a year. Whenever I make other watch it, I often get sideways glances, but I don't care!

Secretary is a recent favorite. Discovered it when watching one of those "Top Ten Hottest Moments in Cinema" shows. One of the first mainstream movies to touch on the BDSM lifestyle. I cannot think of Maggie Gyllenhaal or James Spader with out seeing her bent over the desk, palms down, while he stands behind her wailing on her ass. Such a hot scene! I think when I first found this movie I watched it 4 times in one month.

What are everyone else's? I can't wait to read about them.
