My Sig other talks about his late wife, who died about four years ago. I encourage it because I think it will eventually help him move on. But I hate it at the same time.
I know that this is different, very different from talking about an ex-wife or ex gf. I guess I just resent the hold that her memory has on him. And then I feel guilt for being glad she died. Because he's not a cheater. If she hadn't died, I wouldn't have him, and he is such a keeper. So in a way, I celebrate what he grieves.
We're leaving on a cross country road trip later this week, so we'll have hours and hours to talk some things through.

We could all try to participate more in the Ladies Lounge. Strive to reply to at least one thread each week. Maybe start one thread each month? I don't know, sometimes their just isn't much activity in the LL. I'll try to do my part. Maybe bring some old thread back from the dead.
