It's been a PPR (full point) league since as long as I can remember it.
Looking back through the history of it, there was one year where the most important position you could own was an absolutely ELITE QB, not only because touchdowns were worth 6 points that one season, but the commissioner decided to add the setting "1 point per each pass completed". That one change made all the difference, though I don't think anyone noticed it until week 1, when Tom Brady came closing to scoring 100 points all by himself.
