Youth is fleeting, but immaturity can last a lifetime... I turn 50 on Sunday.
If you are happy when you look in the mirror, then you are happy, and if you aren't then you aren't, and your age ain't a factor. At least you have the courage to look, and while you draw breath you have the time to change what you don't like.
I think your attitude is commendable.
