An I'm not complaining that the GOP does this, I think if they have attractive women that are qualified (or will change their opinions until they are qualified), that is fine. But, I am wondering why there aren't any 25-40 year old models getting into this line of work with the democrats? Just because a woman is hot, doesn't mean that putting her on TV talk shows or in front of groups of people is exploiting. That is if she is really smart and can convey her stances on the issues well. |
In my mind the key difference is how they are portrayed, Its one thing for an attractive red head to anchor the news (which I find to be pretty common), that's not exploitation but of course how attractive she is in the eye of the beholder. On the flip side its an entirely different thing when that same red head comes out in a low cut top wearing whore makeup and jiggling her way through the news, most guys would find that attractive and probably tune in for the rest of the show simply because hotness abounds. That's more in line with what I was talking about above...or at least the spirit I assumed this thread was in. Based on nothing more then bare bones physical appearance, its just too subjective to say which side has more attractive women on tv.
As for politicians and such its kind of a toss up as well for me, again depending on your definition of attractive they exist on both sides. I don't find Sarah attractive at all, some do (it seems a lot do) but what the hell they found a looker might as well run with it.
