Check online for the proper way to break in a new rifle.
I only learned about the bore technique recently after 30+ years of shooting.

I never really took to my M1A due to it's weight and balance--how much does your FAL weigh Ruprex? How does it handle compared to say, a loaded AR15?
Oh and I vote for the Urban Mirage Flage--it looks more 'blendy' than the other Urban color--and it'll match perfectly with all the dirty snow around here .

It's not comparable to an AR-15. Since the .308 is a heaver and hotter round, it needs more steel wrapped around it. The AR's are damn light and easy to swing. This FAL is surprising light and easy to swing, too. Though not like the AR's. It kicks the shit out of the AR-10's, however. Tossing around a POF or Remington R-25 in a .308 is hard work compared to this Paratrooper FAL. I don't have the weight on it. I'll get it, though, and let you know.
