I realize that companies need to make a profit, and that goes for the cable company as well as Disney. Who is to say that the cable company is already paying Disney enough or not? It seems like a no win situation, at least for the customers. If Cablevision does not pay, we lose ABC; if they do pay, we get an increase in what we pay.
Apparently, FIOS is not in my area, so my only other choice is DirectTV. But then where will I get my internet and my phone from? I don't think DirectTV offers any kind of package deal. So I guess I am stuck. Eh, I can always raise the rent if they raise my cable bill. My tenants use my cable and my internet, included in the rent.
