Are you asking about power in the political or economic sense, or just celebrity, style, or fame?

This sounds like celebrity, fashion, style, fame.

Everyone has a different idea of what makes beauty, but when I was a dancer, I found that men would prefer tits over eyeshadow and mascara...oh... let's see, about 999 times out of a thousand.

Oh my, let me count the ways:
Hillary
Margaret Thatcher
Czarina Catharine the Great
Eleanor Roosevelt
Indira Ghandi
Golda Meir
Queen Victoria
Madeleine Albright
Susan B. Anthony
(but really, what kind of question is that?)

Not only is she beautiful, but she is highly educated. She holds a Ph.D in Economics and had a successful career in the oil industry along with her relative success in politics.

Ms. Tymoshenko is a classic beauty --high cheekbones, long, thick blonde hair, great smile. She's beautiful, but she's also not distractingly sexy, and doesn't try to be. And she got her position on her own, not on somebody's coattails. How much do you think she'd let a Bill Clinton get away with?

I may have an unconventional view of beauty...I truly have not seen many people who I though were truly ugly to look at. More often it's a persons personality that can make them ugly.

Amelia Earhart is compellingly beautiful! I have seen photos of her that I just couldn't take my eyes off of. I could look at her for hours! Same with Katharine Hepburn. And, unconventionally beautiful, singer/poet, Patti Smith.
Strangely, I think that Amelia Earhart bears somewhat of a resemblance to her contemporary and rival, Charles Lindbergh. (no relation
