IMO, I think because he had such a large number of mistresses, the female population will stick with the "hang em high" verdict.
Personally, I think he and his wife clearly had communication problems and it probably led to infidelity. Do I care how many ladies he boned and what his wife gets from this? No, not in the least. It's between them and any legally binding agreements.
