So, I want to go see this play with onodrim:
In 'Race,' David Alan Grier Confronts Painful Issues : NPR
Of course, I don't live in NYC, and I'm also not rich. So, in order to figure out if we can afford to see this, I need to figure out what the costs would be. The tickets would be about $275, and, whether flying or driving, travel would cost about $175. Already, that's expensive, and I NYC hotels certainly aren't known for being cheap.
If we go, it would be sometime in Feb after the 10th, or perhaps in the second half of March (we need to be in Chicago the first week of March to meet dlish!). The question I have is: are there any NYC TFPers who are willing to open up their couch for a few days so we don't have to spend hundreds on hotel costs?
It'd be great to kill three birds with one stone: see the play, save money, AND meet some more TFPers.
