Wild is the best word to describe the dreams for me as well, even though I can't remember the content, I know they don't compare to the ones I have in a sleep related, altered state of consciousness.
Next time, I'll try the legs and abs tightening suggestion you made. I always try to focus my thoughts on something else, so it makes sense to focus on something that will keep my BP up.
