At what point should I freak out? (Heavy menstration and terrible pain)
My period has been VERY heavy. I change my super duper absorbency tampon every 1.5 hours to 2 hours. The pain is horrendous. However, they don't feel like the cramps I normally get. Usually I cramp a day before and first day of and then I'm good. It has been a constant dull pain for the past 4 days.
I JUST had a pap last week and everything was fine. I'm wondering if I should just call my doctor and ask him what to do. I have other medical problems and am very tired of going to see medical professionals.
Three years ago I bled for a month straight. After passing out at work, my co-workers MADE me go to the doctor. (yeah, it got THAT bad before I did something about it.) I had an ultrasound and nothing was there. I've been on birth control ever since to regulate my cycle.
My mother died of endometrial cancer, so I don't want to take this lightly. I also don't want to think that every time I have the slightest issue with my girlie bits that I have cancer.
I think I know what advice you will give me, but I suppose I just need to hear it.
