got BG I & II and ICS I & II, but havent played the sequel to either.. i can however offer this opinion:
what did you or do you enjoy most about the RPG games you've played? the storyline and seeing your characters grow or the fighting and seeing how powerful your characters could get. BG had a fantasticly driven story but i also enjoyed walking around in ICD hacking up all kinds of baddies and grabbing new loot.
