He greets me in the morning with coffee, because he knows I can't function like a normal human being without coffee and some wake-up time first.
He talks to the kitties like I do, and uses my nicknames for them (Tumblebee and Ruffapotamus, both elusive beasts rarely seen).
He enjoys being silly with me.
And he doesn't mind that at least once a week I like to eat macaroni and cheese (Kraft Dinner) with peas.
