I have 12 fans in mine, including 3 in the PSU and it bugs me just a little bit more everyday. The 3rd fan in the PSU, which is a full-speed intake, is going to be disconnected this weekend. From what I can tell, nearly all the fan noise comes from the two full-speed intakes on the PSU, so I'll easily drop 6dB by removing one of them.
On Tuesday this week, I spent a few hours taking the case apart and putting Dynamat on just about every piece of bare metal I could find; I even covered the insides on the unused drivebay covers. The front and back of the mobo tray got covered (that's a big piece of vibrating aluminum all by itself), and so did the PSU mounting plate in the back, the bottom of the case, the inside of the top panel (where three 120mm fans were vibrating it), both side panels, and even the back of the front bezel. I got rid of all the case hum, but those PSU fans are still spinning like crazy!
Eventually I plan to go to watercooling, but for now I'd rather not spend the money.
