Well. I switched my personal computer over to Ubuntu a few months ago. I posted about it a little bit on here.
Well I am really starting to like it better than windows. And I was thinking about switching my work computer over also. Ubuntu will do everything that my work computer uses but Autocad.
I don't really want to try and make Autocad work on Ubuntu thru Wine. It just doesn't sound fun or like it would perform well.
So I was thinking about running a remote app of Autocad thru my server. I would like to just open the app in Ubuntu. But so far I have not had any luck finding software to do remote App under linux. I found some that said it would work but never got it to work.
Application publishing: 2X ApplicationServer for Windows Terminal Services
That is what I tried so far without having any luck.
My server is Windows 2008 server. And I want to open the app in Ubuntu 9.04.
Any advise if this is possible or should I just stick with windows. I am either going to upgrade my Windows or goes linux if I can.
