| i either read or heard about a book on tennis that alot of musicians apparently were reading when it came out. one of the statements from it is: if you can feel effort, you're wasting energy. this isn't a statement about not doing things, but more about trying to get to a place where you are, say, working at a technical level that enables performances to feel kinda effortless from a physical standpoint.this makes sense to me.
so i don't bounce about much.
i have alot of energy, but i focus it.

although sometimes, particularly after spending a long time staring at a computer monitor, i lay about on my couch and watch horrifically bad reality tv shows. because, you know, they suck. but so does television. this too makes sense to me.
