The thing about case noise is this, many people cant stand having something making a lot of racket while say, going to sleep (one in your room) or while watching TV (one in the living room) or even just while playing games. Obviously you have not encountered some of the louder fans out there. My cuz's case sounds like a quite Vacume cleaner, and my friends sounds like a loud vacume. Each has a Black Label Delta for the HSF, and a few SUPER high RPM 120mm fans. The real kicker is the new Smart Fan by Thermal take (I think) My friend has this fan and its what sets his over the top.
CD/HDD/Normal Case Fans are nothing compared to the dB a good cooling solution can output.
anyway, about the CD, are you burning at 52x when you burn? Also are you burning the whole CD?
