Ladies,
I am dying from the heat! I have very thick, coarse hair, and it's keeping the heat in. You can see various pictures of my hair here:

I am very tempted to just take the clippers and shave it all off, but my SO does not like that idea one bit, and I don't think my employers would care for it either. Please stop me and make some suggestions of hairstyles that will allow me to cool off! I know that if I go shorter than my current length I will likely have to go super-short because otherwise my hair turns into a poof-ball. Keeping that in mind, does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do?
