Help, I'm Dying Here! Haircut ideas needed
Ladies,
I am dying from the heat! I have very thick, coarse hair, and it's keeping the heat in. You can see various pictures of my hair here: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/members...elf-portraits/ I am very tempted to just take the clippers and shave it all off, but my SO does not like that idea one bit, and I don't think my employers would care for it either. Please stop me and make some suggestions of hairstyles that will allow me to cool off! I know that if I go shorter than my current length I will likely have to go super-short because otherwise my hair turns into a poof-ball. Keeping that in mind, does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do? Thanks in advance!

I too have thick dark hair. Every summer I used to consider shaving it off. I don't have the coarse issues to deal with, but I can still sympathize.
Throwing together some pictures here... many of them look a lot like one another, slightly different styling...not sure if any of these would necessarily look right for you, but they are short... ---------- Post added at 12:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:49 PM ---------- a few more...

so...if you want me to remove this, tell me! Only trying to help...I took one of the pics you pointed to, and gave you a haircut and colour:
based on Keira Knightley, and a little Victoria Beckham. I think you'd look cute! Hope it helps.

Wow, LT. You really did some work there!
I went and got it cut earlier this afternoon; it was just too hot to sit around and wait for advice to roll in. You can see the picture here: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-...ml#post2677890
