Didn't we just get rid of the health and fitness forum?
I believed it was merged with tilted life due to low traffic.
Not that I think that in itself is a good reason, but it's not my decision to make.
I think the questions are unique enough to merit their own forum, kinda the way found on the net was a unique subset of general. Even though there isn't a lot of discussion going on there, it gets it's own forum.
/bring back TFP Health and Fitness
The problem with working out is you can at best give general guidelines when you're trying to address a large group of people. For example if someone asks how much water they should be drinking when they work out, a neat statistical average is about a cup an hour for vigorous exercise. Terribly impractical for many people - like me, I'm a bit larger than average and sweat profusely, I need more water than that, so while the advice is good, it's not good for me. Many health and fitness questions fall into this category.
The main problem, I thought, with health and fitness was all the 'help I'm bleeding from my eyeballs what should I do?' threads. They inevitably fill with speculation and the quite sensible 'go see a doctor' replies.
Maybe a "Tilted Gymnasium" would be cool...
/ramble off
