I've been working with a 17" LCD and a 15" CRT for quite a while as my monitor setup for my two PCs. Well, my video card died on my linux box so the 15 became a dead weight in the water till I fix my linux box. Well, about a week and half ago my LCD turned green on me and started to flash in and out of focus. I knew what that meant, my LCD was about to die. I didn't have the cash on me to buy a new one, but I had a little credit left on my CC and so I bought a new Acer 24" LCD (for $200 bucks free shipping on newegg). While I was waiting on the LCD to arrive my friend told me she was getting a laptop and didn't use her PC anymore. She has a 22" LCD that was collecting dust on her desk and would be put into storage when her laptop got there. Well, after some bartering I traded an old digital camera that I never use for her LCD. Now, I have a 24" and a 22" setup to my gaming PC.
I'm in love with my new setup. I now have an extended desktop for the first time in my life and I don't know how I could have lived without it.
This is a pure bragging thread. Nothing more, nothing less.
My new setup, don't mind the desk, it's shitty and will be the next thing replaced.
