According to
IMDB, the director is Martin Campbell, who did the two Zorro movies (liked the first one, didn't even bother with the second one), and also the two Bond movies
GoldenEye and
Casino Royale. According to various other sources, like
this one, the screenplay in use is apparently the work of Marc Guggenheim, who has written a number of quality episodes of TV dramas (The Practice, Law & Order, etc.) and is the creator of the TV series "Eli Stone."
