There is no excuse for any employee of a business, big or small, to assault anyone buying goods or services from that company, no matter how much of a heathen they appear to be. The customer is ALWAYS right! If the customers getting served the fries had an issue with the way she threw the fries down, the best step is to speak with the manager or the corporate office and do it rationally. If the female worker had an issue with the customer, she should bit her tongue and keep it to herself.

Why aren't they responsible enough? I know I was when I was that age working in various shitty job from fast food to grocery stores. I was 14 and working alone at night at a bakery, handling money, customers and closing the store.
Perhaps they aren't responsible enough today, but the capacity is in them to be so at least. But, that is a whole new can of worms there.
