Cobra weapons are the only "cheap"-ish thing we carry. They share a basic design with the Jennings/Lorcin/Bryco/Jimenez family of boat-anchors, but are built out of actual steel rather than pot-metal and zinc, and as a consequence actually work reliably. However, they do have a -marked- preference for Federal ammo for some reason. Good ol' workaday everyman's gun, the kind of thing you can carry if needed, stuff in the glove-compartment or tacklebox, and generally tromp around the world with while not worrying about the finish.
