Forgetting
Over the past couple years I've started forgetting things. It was little things at first, mostly dealing with work. I attributed it to fatigue at first, but over time it started to become obvious that it wasn't simply fatigue.
It manifests with small things like remembering to run errands and returning calls at work. I've tried to compensate by taking notes and such but it seems like I'm just masking the problem.
I've asked friends and they seem to think it's simply that I've not had a proper vacation for a few years, but that doesn't make sense to me. I'm starting to wonder if it could be depression.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I speak to a doctor or counselor, or am I just being paranoid? I'm having to rely on notes and such more and more often and I'm concerned it might start to manifest in my job performance.
Thanks.
