I was reassured when I was first asked to do it that it can only ban accounts that are younger than some threshhold. So I couldn't "ban and clean" Halx or myself or something weird like that.
I think I've only used it a couple-three times. There have been many more instances where the situation called for a more nuanced touch, and I've referred it to the mods. Still, I'm glad to help out where I can, short of being full-bird staff, which I honestly have no interest in.
