At least once a month, our meets would have to be canceled because one of the black kids either shit in the pool or got their junk stuck in a jet. Perhaps this speaks more to poor people than to black people, but when I moved here (predominantly white area) and asked people who swam if they had ever had anything like that happen, they not only hadn't, but were SHOCKED that the black kids would literally shit where they swim (obviously bad parenting is a huge issue here, but black kids typically have black parents).
So maybe the country club just doesn't want to risk shutting down their pretty pool to clean up some shit head's baby ruth bar.
edit: Yes, 15 years later, I'm still miffed lol.

I've a friend who worked over at Disney world. One of the most expensive resorts there, the Boardwalk Inn, would close it's pool at least once a week because someone crapped in it. Cheapest room there is 335 a night, and as you can imagine guests are usually white and rich. Truth is the main "culprits" for that are young kids without or with faulty swim diapers.
Point being, as always, that anecdotal evidence is really no indication of a trend, and that any conclusions are more likely to be based on one's "confirmation bias" than anything.
