If it's alcohol induced (1-2 drinks will do the trick if it works) it lasts anywhere from 10-30 minutes. And once it's gone, it's gone. That's one reason we frequent the bar 2 blocks from our house when we do go out. If we're farther from home, I have an SUV with heavily tinted windows  And no, I'm not kidding.
If it's not alcohol induced, it lasts anywhere from 1 to 4 days. On birth control or not. I strongly suspect he lives for those days, if his sappy grin is any indication. For me, it's great if it happens on my weekend; awful if I have to work.
I've never received a complaint because I woke him up to jump him. Not once. Worry about the emotional connection some other day. Cause when you gotta jump him, you just gotta jump him. |
I call it "thrumming" which is a cross between throbbing and humming. And yes, I get the involuntary clenches too along with a lovely skin flush. Not that red face from too much wine, but a lovely glow that people have commented on more than once.
